I have some thermocouple temperature time history data collected using a Somat eDAQ.
Data has spikes (invalid data - max value) due to physical issue with TC.
How do I remove those spikes (many of them) and replace them with a ramp or interpolation between 2 points. Basically I want to clean up the data.
Would appreciate an example or some basic pointers.

Thanks,
Krishna

What software are you using for example GlyphWorks 5.0?

Assuming this is the case then you feed the TS data in to a spike detection Glyph from the signal palette (if you have realistic max values then set this to Method = amplitude), feed the outputs from this into a graphical editor with Advanced/EditMethod = Ramp this is now your clean data so either display or save.

Best Regards

I am using GlyphWorks 4.1 and I found it under "Anomaly". I will give it a try. Thanks for the help.

Yes the location of the Glyph has moved between 4.1 and 5.0 but otherwise everything else should work as my description. Any problems just let me know.
