Digital I/O with GPS

It's usually important to relate analog measurements to external events and conditions. This module logs digital I/O signals.

The Digital I/O Board is a multifunctional board that supports multiple digital inputs and outputs and can collect digital-type signals such as switch closures, turn on LEDs, control relays or solenoid, count pulses, measure duty cycles, collect frequency inputs, log GPS information, set pulse input thresholds, and much more. A total of twenty-four channels of software selectable digital input/output, twelve high-level channels, and eighteen pulse counters are available with this versatile board!

Each channel is configured as either input or output using TCE. The transducers are connected to the eDAQ via the 20-wire cable in the Digital I/O cable assembly.

Threshold voltage accuracy: ±20 mV
Voltage range: steady state -0.2 to +45 vdc, short term transients -0.4 to 100 vdc
Twenty-four channels of digital input, voltage ranges: steady state -45 to +45 vdc, short term transients ±100vdc
Input switching thresholds are programmable per bank
Pulse Rate and Quadrature modes count rising edge pulses for inputs up to 1 MHz.
Maximum Pulse Rate counts per sample is over 4 billion
Pulse Width Period and Pulse on Period modes measure periods using a 5 MHz clock resulting in 200 nanosecond resolution
Minimum frequency measurement possible is 0.0012 Hz
Can Network with eDAQ, 2100, and Megadac systems
